We added a new face to the J60 line this week, and honestly the vibe caught us off guard a little — no jungle, no neon, just what looks like a cramped little herb shop somewhere in Kyoto, shelves stacked to the ceiling. Green hair, a pink floral kimono, dust hanging in the light. That's Momo.
Still the same J60 underneathNothing changed on the body side — same 60cm frame, same medical-grade silicone, same poseable metal skeleton the rest of the line runs on. All the difference is in the head and the styling. The vinyl face is BJD-style like a few of our other dolls, but her expression sits a bit quieter, less "camera-ready," more like she just glanced up from a book. Then there's that green hair — under warm light it edges toward teal, which honestly we didn't fully notice until we saw the photos back.
About that kimonoWe didn't want something crisp and new-looking. The floral kimono is styled to look like it's been folded in a drawer for a decade, a little worn at the sleeves, like it belonged to someone before it belonged to Momo. Paired with the apothecary backdrop, the whole set stops looking like a doll photoshoot and starts looking like a frame pulled from some old film nobody's heard of.
The photos you'll see belowWe shot Momo in the same bookshop-apothecary set the concept started from — same shelves, same low light, same clutter of plants in the corner. Nothing staged in a blank studio room; the point was to keep her in that world instead of pulling her out of it.

Straight from the factory floorA few shots further down are unretouched, taken right on the production line — no styling, no filter pass, just the doll as she's assembled. We like including these because they show the seams, the joints, the actual silicone tone under regular light, things a polished photoshoot tends to smooth over.

How big she actually isSpecs on paper don't always click, so there are a couple of photos with Momo next to an adult for scale. At 60cm she lands around hip height on most people — usually smaller than she looks in close-up shots, and worth knowing before she shows up at your door.

Is she for you?If you've wanted a J60 without the loud, put-together energy — something closer to quiet and a little worn around the edges — Momo's probably it. Posing works exactly the same as any other J60, so really the only thing you're deciding on is the face and the mood.
