J Series Buying Guide: Which CLM Anime Mini Doll Fits You?

CLM's J Series brings together anime-style mini dolls built with a silicone body for a smooth, lifelike texture and a vinyl head that keeps its sharp anime detailing and color over time. Every J Series doll uses a full metal skeleton, so it holds poses steadily and can be adjusted the way you'd expect from a full-size doll.

J Series is one of two silicone mini doll lines CLM offers. If you'd rather have a fully silicone, more realistic-looking mini doll instead of an anime look, check out our Si vs J Series Mini Doll Comparison to see how the two lines differ.

1. The J Series Models

Model Body Type Starting Price
J60 XS Compact, smaller-scale anime figure $579
J60 Standard anime-style figure with a moderate build $649
J59 Big-bust anime figure $659
J60P Upgraded J60 with a larger hip and chest $659
J58 The bustiest model, full BBW body $659
J85B Larger breasts, fuller figure $939

Note: J59 isn't listed among the official model highlights on the J Series category page, but it's a current, in-stock model, so we've included it here for a complete comparison.

2. Material & Build

Every J Series doll pairs a silicone body with a vinyl head, held together by a full metal skeleton. The vinyl head is used because it's durable, scratch-resistant, and ages well, while keeping the crisp, anime-inspired look that sets the J Series apart from CLM's more realistic silicone lines. It's also lighter than a silicone head, which makes the doll easier to pose and handle.

The trade-off is that the vinyl head is firmer to the touch than the silicone body, and its structure doesn't allow hair to be rooted directly into it. Styling is done with wigs instead, so you can still change up the look whenever you like.

3. How to Choose the Right J Series Model

  • Want something compact and easy to handle? Go with the J60 XS.
  • Want a classic, moderately proportioned anime figure? The J60 is the standard choice in the lineup.
  • Want a bigger bust on an otherwise standard frame? The J59 fits that look.
  • Want fuller hips and chest on the J60 frame? The J60P is the upgraded option.
  • Want the fullest, curviest BBW body in the series? The J58 is built for that.
  • Want the largest bust size available? The J85B is the top option.
  • Prefer a more realistic feel over an anime look? Compare with the Si Series in our Si vs J Series Mini Doll Comparison.

4. FAQ

Why does the J Series use a vinyl head instead of silicone?
Vinyl holds up well over time, resists scratches, and keeps the sharp, anime-style detailing that defines the J Series look, while the silicone body still gives a soft, realistic feel.

Does the vinyl head make the doll heavier?
No, it's actually lighter than a silicone head, which makes the doll easier to pose and handle.

Can I restyle the J Series doll's hair?
The vinyl head can't be rooted with hair, so styling is done using wigs instead.

How is the J Series different from the Si Series?
The Si Series is fully silicone from head to body for the most realistic feel, while the J Series pairs a silicone body with a vinyl head for a durable, anime-inspired look. See our Si vs J Series Mini Doll Comparison for a full breakdown.
